Subway Gets Green With Eco-Conscious Locations
Subway ousted McDonald’s as the world’s largest fast food chain with 35,065 restaurants in 98 locations and now the juggernaut is on track to become one of the first chains with an eco-conscious. Currently, there are 12 Eco-Subway restaurants with more being developed for the future.
McDonald's Partners with Smurfs to Help the Environment
It’s turning into a Smurferific summer for McDonald’s and the newly released 'The Smurfs' 3D film. McD’s has partnered with Sony Pictures (distributor of the film) and Keep America Beautiful (KAB) in releasing a Smurf-themed Happy Meal that’ll help the environment. Boston Market Offers Chicken and a Movie Deal
Starting On August 8, 2011 and going until September 10, 2011, Boston Market customers will now be able to get a movie with their rotisserie chicken meals. For any meal purchased after 5 p.m. at Boston Market that’s priced at $5 or more before taxes, patrons will get a $1 DVD one-night rental voucher for Blockbuster Express. Customers will have until the end of September to use the voucher before it expires on September 30th, 2011.
